Meet Colleen Carmody. She’s here to help you with customer service and support.

When you call Gulden the pleasant, helpful voice on the telephone will most likely belong to highly skilled Colleen Carmody in our customer service and support department.  Customers tell us that she is professional, very knowledgeable, and friendly.

Colleen has been with us for a bit over two years.  She has an amazing knowledge not only of our more than 400 products, but is also a wonderful listener and problem solver.  If you call in with a question, with a product need, or with an order, she immediately grasps how she can help.

Colleen came to Gulden after working in accounting.  No wonder she works with numbers and orders so well!   She began here at Gulden working in manufacturing – so she knows not only all about our products, but how they are made – a definite advantage to customers.  She uses her accounting background to help customers with orders and helps track orders within our company, always looking to serve customers expediently.  She works well with doctors, nurses, buyers – everyone who calls with inquiries or questions.

Here’s an example of her excellent product knowledge and how she helps customers.  Recently a customer in a surgical practice inquired about ordering sterile versus non-sterile eye spheres.  The customer could purchase non-sterile products, but would then have to take steps to sterilize them before use.  Our sterile eye spheres (as well as our conformers) can be used immediately.  After probing the customer for information about their use and listening actively, Colleen recommended the pre-sterilized eye spheres and explained how they could save costs and time.

I like to think of Colleen as a “triple threat” (as used in sports!)  – not only does she know our products intimately and how they are manufactured and used, she knows how to actively probe and listen to customer’s needs, recommend the best product or products, and then process the order to rapidly get the customer what he or she needs.

The next time you hear a pleasant, helpful woman’s voice responding to your customer service needs, say “hello” to Colleen – you can depend on her, as we do, to serve you in a very excellent way!
