Gulden Introduces New Deluxe Educational Eye Model

Unlike static eye models, this new model opens and disassembles to provide an inside, functional view of the eye; identified parts help to promote better patient understanding of the eye and its structure.

ELKINS PARK, PA – Gulden Ophthalmics has added to its extensive line of educational eye models its new Deluxe Eye Model – a modular model that is very useful in helping patients, students, and office staff understand how eye components function to create vision.

The new Deluxe Eye Model disassembles to reveal internal eye structures; it opens to seven components that include the cornea, iris, lens, and vitreous humor. The model exhibits details of additional structures such as the optic nerve, retinal veins and arteries, ciliary bodies and processes, ocular muscles, and more.

Each of the 31 identified structures is numbered on the model and corresponds to the identification of the item on the patient education card that accompanies the model. The model is also an extremely good teaching aid for medical, optometry, ophthalmology, and nursing students as well as office professional and supporting staff members. The Deluxe Eye Model is five-times (5x) life size, is constructed of durable, long life plastic, and is mounted on a sturdy, attractive, plastic base.
